Introducing Beau Robinson
Are you working longer hours than you want to or ever thought you would be?
Do you want to regain the vision and dream that led you to forming your own business in the first place?
What would you do to regain control of your life and spend more time with family and friends?
I am a certified Business Coach with Action COACH, the World’s #1 Business Coaching Franchise (Entrepreneur Magazine, Jan. 2004 & 2005).
How I can help YOU?
As your coach, I will be working with you in five key areas. The emphasis on each area depends on your needs, the type of business you have, and your goals. The key areas are: Sales; Marketing and Advertising; Team Building and Recruitment; Systems and Business Development; and, Customer Service.
My goal is to help small business owners, such as yourself, spend less time working in your business and more time working on your business. In the end, you’ll be spending less total time working and will be making more money. I’d also like to help you put the FUN back in your business and your life. I understand what it’s like to put in long hours and wonder what happened to the dreams and vision I had for my life and future.
I am here to help you change all of that. We will work together to redefine your dreams and vision, and then we will put into place the necessary systems, strategies, and tactics that will allow you to turn your business venture into a thriving, successful one.
I define a successful business as: a commercial, profitable enterprise that works without you. As your Business Coach, I will function as an unreasonable friend who tells it like it is and keeps you working on the path toward your dreams.
My coaching philosophy
My coaching philosophy is that of being tough and honest, but fair. I’ll tell you straight up without hesitation if you aren’t getting done what you have committed and agreed to of yourself after our initial meeting, but I’ll be the first to acknowledge and compliment you when you are doing well, as I know people thrive from positive reinforcement.
I am an Action Coach for AMBITIOUS & DETERMINED business owners.
Why have I stressed AMBITIOUS & DETERMINED?
I’ve been fortunate enough to play with and against some of the world’s best players during my rugby career, and I love working with those that are striving to reach their potential. This is one of the great benefits in any form of coaching, helping those willing to put in the work, grow and achieve in whatever field they desire. That for me is the most satisfying aspect of coaching. I don’t have time or patience for those people who ‘say’ they want something, but aren’t willing to work to achieve it, I’ve seen enough of those. I was only able to reach my potential and achieve my goals after facing setbacks, obstacles and challenges and it was my determination that saw me achieve many of my goals.
I’ve mastered and developed the traits that are required to be successful in any field. Traits such as determination, dedication, resilience, self-belief and work ethic to name a few. I also have a great understanding how to use these traits to ensure that you reach your potential. This is a skill that in my opinion is definitely underestimated in those that are successful.
If you want to kick some BIG, BIG goals, as I do, then let’s get after it, make it happen, and work together!
What’s my background?
I was a professional athlete for 10 seasons, playing for the NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds and Harlequins in the UK. The pinnacle of this was representing my country (Australia) as a Wallaby.
I’ve done numerous educational talks and skills workshops with kids and adults, men and women from all over the world, including South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and Italy.
I have had numerous appearances/interviews on national and international television, state and national radio.
I produce a podcast “A Yarn with BeauRobbo”, where I interview past professional athletes and talk about the challenges of transitioning from professional sport to life after, and discuss business opportunities after their sporting career.
I love writing and publish on thebattlercominggood.com blog, as well as articles for newspapers and online commentary portals.
I’m passionate about giving back to the community and I’m a Director for The Kangaroos Rugby Club in Dubbo, NSW.
I have a Bachelor of Business Degree, Griffith University, Brisbane and I love to learn. I enjoy researching, reading, exploring different fields and educating myself.
But above of that all…I’m a family man who values quality time spend with my partner Ewelina and our two children Tanami and Oriana.
So why business coaching?
I watched my parents own a camping business in Dubbo, which gave them flexibility, not freedom. I would often look at other family and friends and ask how they were able to reach much greater heights with their businesses than my parents were able to, and what were the driving forces behind this. This is where my initial intrigue into business began. Although there was plenty of commitment from my parents, ultimately it was a lack of working ‘on’ their business, instead of ‘in’ their business that meant that after the exhaustion of running the Camping Shop 12 years and ultimately burning out.
Why did I join ActionCOACH Company?
There’s a saying in rugby coaching circles that goes “don’t be in a rush to do your apprenticeship”, especially if you are under the leadership of a great head coach. Brad Sugars started Action Coach back in 1993 and was the first business ‘coach’ in the world. Action Coach is now the most successful business coaching company in the world, so it’s fair to say I’m in partnership with one of, if not, the best Head Coaches in the business coaching game.
